What is a coil machine?
The coil machine is a device that produces a high energy alternating electromagnetic field at a specific frequency of your choosing.  It is used experimentally to test the effects of electromagnetic fields or sound waves on a given object or system.

Is a Coil Machine the same as a Doug Machine, Doug Coil Machine or a Doug Device?

Yes, these terms can be used interchangeably.  Doug MacLean is credited as the inventor of the original Doug Machine; he was gracious enough to share the details of the building of his device with all of us.  This is the basis for the Doug Coil Machine that we manufacture today.
